As part of our close-knit, family-driven operation, Mike Owens (Levi's uncle) works behind the scenes as our Master Electrician and Electrical Manager. With more than 25 years of experience in the electrical industry, Mike plays a vital role in guiding our work, upholding quality, and ensuring our projects are completed safely and efficiently.
Meet the Owner
Pictured on the left is Levi McKinnon, owner and the hands-on professional behind PowerHouse Automation and Electric. As the primary “boots on the ground,” Levi is committed to delivering quality workmanship and dependable service on every project.
Levi began his journey in the electrical field through formal education, earning a degree in Instrumentation and Control Automation from New River Community College in May 2023. Following graduation, he joined Real Performance Machinery in Independence, Virginia, where he quickly advanced to the role of Electrical Lead, gaining valuable hands-on experience in complex electrical and automation systems.
Driven by a passion for his craft and a desire to better support his growing family, Levi founded PowerHouse Automation and Electric. As a father of two, he values hard work, integrity, and building a business that not only serves his community with excellence, but also creates lasting opportunities for his children’s future.
